NEET 2019: Last day to challenge answer key, correct particulars in application form

NEET 2019 Answer Key

The official answer key of NEET is that which is released by the exam conducting body, i.e. National Testing Agency (NTA) releases the answer key for all the paper code, in the login of the candidates. It contains solutions to questions in the exam and as per it, the result is determined.

The Agency first releases preliminary answer key and it is open for challenges. The candidates then submit the challenges against it and these are checked the team of expert. If the challenges are valid, changes are made in the answer key of NEET. Then, the final key is prepared for result calculation.

To do so, candidates need to pay Rs. The facility to submit objections and pay fee is only provided at ntaneet.nic.in. With the objection, candidates also need to submit a document of proof. It can be a text from a book, an example, or logical explanation. NTA shall consider all the objections and will make the changes in the answer key, if the objection is valid. The updated answer key is the final answer key of NEET 2019. NTA does not inform students if their challenge has been accepted or not.

The answer key of NEET is of two types, official and unofficial. The official answer key of NEET is that which is released by the NTA, on ntaneet.nic.in, whereas, the unofficial answer key is released by coaching institutes.

The unofficial answer key is released few hours after the examination and the official answer key is released within a few days from the exam date. Candidates can use both the keys to predict score in the exam. However, the official answer key is more authentic and is released for all the paper set. On the other hand, the unofficial answer key may or not be released for all the paper set.

NTA is conducting the exam for the first time. So, the Agency has conducted the exam in online mode. However, it conducted NEET in pen and paper mode. The examination is a 3 hour exam, in which candidates gets a question from class 11 and 12 syllabi of CBSE. Questions in the exam are only of the mutiple choice type and are asked from Botany, Zoology, Physics, and Chemistry. Over the year, it has been observed that Biology in the exam is moderate in level of difficulty, whereas, Physics is the toughest and Chemistry is the easiest.

If the candidate knows how many marks they might score, they can also get a predictive rank based on that score using the NEET Rank Predictor 2019. The rank predictor can be used after logging in using Google or Facebook account. Upon log-in, one has to enter NEET score and roll number, etc. based on which matching colleges will be shown.

The NEET 2019 exam pattern includes important details about the exam like exam mode, marking scheme, subjects covered, types of questions asked. So, it makes sense that when preparing for the exam, one should follow the exam pattern of NEET 2019.
